Who we are

CorporateBlackLimousine.com, a chauffeured ground-transportation company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Privacy questions go to support@corporateblacklimousine.com.

What we collect and why

Reservations. Name, phone number, email address, pickup and destination addresses, flight, vessel or train details, passenger count, luggage, any special requirements, and payment details. These are needed to perform the journey and to charge for it. Card details are entered in the reservation engine, operated by our booking-software provider, and are not stored by us.

Enquiries. The details you type into the contact or corporate forms. They are emailed to our desk and kept in a log so a mail failure does not lose your message.

Corporate accounts. Traveller profiles, preferences, approval rules and billing references, supplied by the account holder and used only for that account’s reservations and reporting.

Browsing. This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are used, and a live-chat widget so you can reach the desk from any page. Both set cookies on your device. Flags on this site are served from a third-party image service that receives your IP address when the images load. No advertising cookies are set by us.

Who receives it

• The chauffeur assigned to your journey, or the affiliate operator fulfilling it outside Ontario, receives the details needed to perform it and nothing more
• Our reservation-engine provider, which processes payments and sends confirmations on our behalf
• Google, for analytics, and our chat provider, for live chat, under their own privacy terms
• Our email and hosting providers, who store messages and logs
• Authorities where the law requires it, for example a request from a licensing body or a court

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Reservation records are kept for seven years to meet tax and accounting obligations. Enquiry logs are kept for two years. Corporate traveller profiles are kept for the life of the account and deleted on request when the account closes. Analytics data is retained under Google’s standard settings.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where we no longer need it for a journey, an invoice or a legal obligation. Requests go to the email address above and are answered within thirty days. Residents of jurisdictions with additional rights, including the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, have those rights in full.

Cookies and tracking

Google Analytics cookies measure page use; the chat widget’s cookies keep a conversation open as you move between pages. You can block both in your browser without affecting reservations. If the live chat is not loaded, phone and email reach the same desk.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions and reservation data are transmitted encrypted and stored on access-controlled systems. No method is perfect; if we become aware of a breach affecting your information we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

This notice is updated when our practices change. The date below is the date of the current version.
